Can I insure my e-bike?
Yes — e-bike insurance is available in Australia through specialist providers and some home & contents policies. We recommend looking into dedicated bicycle insurance that covers theft, accidental damage and third-party liability. Speak to your insurer about listing your bike as a specified item for full coverage.
Do I need a licence or registration to ride in NSW?
No licence or registration is required for e-bikes that comply with EN 15194 — pedal-assist only, capped at 250W and 25 km/h. E-bikes that exceed these limits (higher wattage or throttle-only above 6 km/h) are legally classified as motor vehicles and will require registration and a valid licence.
Do you offer test rides?
Absolutely. We're based in Sydney and welcome you to come and try before you buy. Fill in the enquiry form and we'll be in touch to arrange a time.
What warranty do the bikes come with?
All Bayriders bikes come with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty covering manufacturing defects under normal use. Full details are available on our Warranty page and included with every purchase.
Do you deliver outside NSW?
Yes — we offer Australia-wide delivery on all models. Delivery times and costs vary by location. Reach out via our enquiry form for a delivery quote to your area.
Can I pay using Afterpay or a payment plan?
