12-Month Manufacturer’s Warranty

Bayriders Co warrants that its e-bikes are free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.

Where a valid warranty claim is approved, replacement parts will be supplied free of charge.

Installation, labour, freight, travel, and service charges associated with fitting replacement parts are not included under this manufacturer’s warranty and may incur an additional fee.

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

What's Covered

  • Frame and structural components — manufacturing defects
  • Motor — defects in materials or workmanship
  • Battery — manufacturing defects under correct use and charging
  • Electrical components — controller, wiring, display, and connectors
  • Factory-fitted brakes and drivetrain components

What's Not Covered

This warranty does not apply to damage or faults resulting from:

  • Misuse, neglect, accident, or riding beyond the bike's stated specifications
  • Unauthorised modifications or repairs carried out by anyone other than Bayriders Co. or an approved service provider
  • Normal wear and tear — including tyres, brake pads, chains, cables, and grips
  • Improper charging, use of non-approved chargers, or failure to follow the care and maintenance instructions provided
  • Battery damage caused by overheating, exposure to extreme temperatures (hot or cold), water ingress, physical impact, or leaving the battery in a fully discharged state for an extended period
  • Cosmetic damage including scratches, dents, or fading that does not affect the safe operation of the bike
  • Damage caused by riding in wet, flooded, or off-road conditions beyond the bike's rated IP or terrain specification

How to Make a Claim

If you believe your bike has developed a fault covered under this warranty, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at info@bayridersco.com.au with your order number and a clear description of the issue
  2. Attach photos or video clearly showing the fault
  3. We will assess your claim and respond within 2 business days
  4. If the claim is approved, we will arrange repair, replacement, or return at no cost to you

Please do not attempt to repair or disassemble the bike before contacting us, as doing so may void the warranty.
