1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Bayriders Co. website and the purchase of products through it. By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

Bayriders Co. is an Australian, family-owned business based in Sydney, NSW.

2. Products & Pricing

All prices are listed and charged in Australian Dollars (AUD). We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. Product images are for illustrative purposes and may vary slightly from the physical item.

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions and specifications are accurate. If we discover an error in a listing, we will notify you before processing your order and give you the option to proceed or cancel.

3. Orders & Payment

Once you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This is not acceptance of your order — it is confirmation that we've received it. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion.

Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase. Payments are handled through Shopify checkout and enabled payment providers. We do not store your card details.

4. Shipping & Delivery

We ship Australia wide. Estimated delivery timeframes are provided as a guide only and are not guaranteed. Delivery times may vary based on your location and carrier availability.

• Standard delivery: 5–10 business days
• Bulky items (e-bikes) may take longer due to freight requirements
• You will receive tracking information once your order has been dispatched

Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery. If your item arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours with photos and we will work to resolve the issue promptly.

5. Returns & Refunds

We do not offer change-of-mind returns. All Bayriders Co. e-bikes are sold new with 0 km on the clock. Once a bike has been ridden, it cannot be returned or resold as new.

Returns are only accepted where an item is faulty, damaged upon arrival, or not as described — in line with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Depending on the nature of the fault, your remedy may include a repair, replacement, or refund.

Return shipping costs for faulty or incorrect items will be covered by Bayriders Co. Please contact us at info@bayridersco.com.au with your order number and supporting photos or video within 48 hours of delivery.

6. Warranty

All Bayriders Co. e-bikes come with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty covering manufacturing defects under normal use. If your bike develops a fault due to a defect in materials or workmanship within 12 months of the original purchase date, we will repair or replace the affected component at our discretion, at no cost to you.

This warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by misuse, accident, neglect, or unauthorised modification
• Normal wear and tear, including tyres, brake pads, chains, and cables
• Damage resulting from riding in conditions beyond the bike's stated specifications
• Damage caused by improper charging, use of non-approved chargers, or failure to follow the care instructions provided
• Battery damage resulting from overheating, exposure to extreme temperatures, water ingress, physical impact, or leaving the battery in a fully discharged state for an extended period
• Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, or fading that does not affect performance

Warranty claims must be submitted with proof of purchase and photos or video clearly showing the defect. Contact us at info@bayridersco.com.au and we will assess your claim promptly.

7. Ride Compliance

E-bike laws vary by state and territory in Australia. It is your responsibility to ensure you comply with all local road rules and regulations before riding. Bayriders Co. does not accept liability for any fines, penalties, or incidents arising from non-compliant use of our products.

Always wear appropriate safety gear and ride responsibly.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bayriders Co. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of our products or website. Our liability is limited to the value of the product purchased.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including images, copy, branding, and design — is the property of Bayriders Co. and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our written permission.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW.
